I'm going to be an aunty!!!

Ok this is a very quick post.

I have been finding it really hard to write anything.

There is so much I want to say but do not know where to start.

I think the words will start flowing if I tell myself I only need to write a little bit at a time.

In a few months time I will be an aunty and my kids will have their first cousin!!!

I am so excited that the age gap between my baby and his cousin will be less than a year ... and at the same time feel sad that kt didn't have the chance to experience this when she was little.

She will be a great big cousin ... with two little ones (and perhaps more later)following her around ... and I know she will be wonderful with them.

I hope having them in her life will make her feel needed, loved and valued.

At the moment she is sad and a lot has changed so that is understandable.

I hope things improve for her and I will have to try and remember to give her lots of hugs and kisses ... and to breathe deeply and try to keep calm when she is being unreasonable or disagreeable.
